About Me

At work, I'm a software engineer from Seattle, Washington, and I've worked in and around data and infrastructure for most of my career. For more about my current and past work, see my résumé.

Not at work, you can usually find me skiing in the winter, thinking about skiing in the summer, and hanging out with my wife and our cat year round. I found my way to Seattle via:

  • 🌲 Humboldt County, California, where I grew up in a tiny town in the redwoods
  • 🏒 Grand Forks, North Dakota, where I spent some time studying Air Traffic Control and watching hockey at the University of North Dakota
  • ☕️ Bellingham, Washington, where I finished my degree at Western Washington University, started my career, and spent a lot of time at Mt. Baker and Vancouver, BC
